Amazing facts, indeed! However… cutting the price half again
(and again) should make us rich quick – which I don’t believe…
So: how far can you go?
Suprisingly enlightening, this is ingenius !
This is me …. I don’t mind spending the money if the value is there,
just make it affordable to me.
Great material Ryan !
Thanks Ryan, I will be testing this on my site/store. Most of my products are already low, have to deal with competition pricing… people do go for the lowest prices and even free shipping. I think I’ll try this on kits or bundled products where I do have wiggle room to test. Many times just changing to free shipping as increased sales of a particular product. My site store has over 1000 different types of products. thanks again, jerri
I have an advertising site and was charging the standard pricing for such a site, and hardly anyone paid. I lowered the price about 9 months ago and have had regular upgraded members joining ever since. I’ve always said that lower pricing, even at, say, sporting events, would ultimately bring in more money, and it’s so nice to be vindicated in that belief. Excellent content.
This makes a whole lot of sense.
Great work! Our experience with multi-pays is that they lead to a lot of staff time chasing down declined credit cards and to chargebacks and complaints if we push too hard. That being the case, it appears we would still be better of lowering prices and writing off uncollected amounts. I love the message of “test test test” though. Thanks for sharing this
Hey Ryan!
Makes sense to me – lower the price to increase conversions – but getting MORE revenue by doing that is really interesting. I love that you didn’t leave it there and tested conversions on a ‘pay half now/half later’ basis. If I’ve got this right you tripled your conversions AND your revenue by doing this. Really clever. Would love to know the result of your 3 payment test…
Great work!
Ryan, you continue to amaze me! I’ve been following you for years and you’re always ahead of the game. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise to generously!
With a new launch coming out this month, I was in a quandary about whether to price the “intro” product at $97 or $197. The actual “Secret” goes back to Dan Kennedy – TWO EASY PAYMENTS – gives 1.5x the money! Sweet!
Thanks for this video – helps answer the question!

Hi Ryan,
I had not heard of you before until I just got an email from someone with a link to you on it. Am I glad I found you. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I like that all of your content is super PRACTICAL! Great advice, proven by testing and cut right to the heart of what and how to do it. I don’t even know what you sell yet, but whatever it is, I’m buying it. Good luck.
I have often wondered what would happen if I tried something like this. At the moment the only product I sell is membership at my website and a few marketing services, so I am not sure I can apply it right away, but I am experienced enough to know that I HAVE TO remember this and apply it as soon as possible. Thanks so much for taking the time to test this… what many people thought was a no-brainer was dead wrong and you’ve nailed it!
I saw this video 2 or 3 weeks ago then did what you said and saw an instant change in my numbers within one week my sales increased by 50%+ …I just joined your program and watched the $1m napkin and I am sure between just these two thing you will make me at least an extra $50k per yr( I know to some that’s not that much but to me it is a lot!) …Thank you!
Ryan,
Did you ever conduct the 3 payment test to verify the conversions to see if it still obtained 3x the conversion rate?
You mentioned you would do an update video on such a split test.
Awesome article, sweet blog theme, keep up the good work
